Alissa Mansfield earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee. Her transformational college experience lead her to pursue a master’s in Higher Education Administration. Working in higher education Alissa cultivated a passion for working one on one with students and developing programs to serve various student populations. She is excited about helping students navigate the college admissions process and finding the perfect fit for them to continue their education. She is also thrilled to serve as guidance counselor and help build a program of socio-emotional learning. The value Blyth-Templeton Academy places on an environment for learning and personal growth made this position a great fit. Alissa believes that growth and human connection are the driving forces for education and good in this world. She is inspired to work with students to ensure they feel seen, heard, valued, and can find strength in their relationships within the school and the greater community.
