Full-time Tuition & Fees

 

Blyth-Templeton Academy is committed to offering students an educational experience that is founded on best practices of teaching and learning. The use of Washington, DC and all of the extraordinary resources available is not only the best approach for learning but also allows our tuition to be more affordable.

The online registration for the 2017-2018 school year is available here. Priority is given to completed applications received by January 6, 2017. Admissions decisions will be made by the Admissions Committee once all supplemental materials are received. After the deadline, applications are accepted on a rolling admission basis, if space is available.

Payment Options

Full tuition payments may be made any time prior to the start date. We also offer flexible payment options:

1. Early Payment: A payment must be made in full to participate and receive the incentive.

2. Regular Payment: A deposit payment of $5,000 due upon Registration. Balance due August 1, 2017. Please note that a late registration surcharge will apply for registrations after June 1, 2017 as follows:

3. Installments: A convenient monthly payment plan is available to families who prefer to spread out their payments.

The installment plan can be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) or post-dated checks. Deposit is due upon registration. Monthly payments are due on the first of each month beginning from August 1st.

Study Abroad

 

Blyth-Templeton Academy partners with Blyth Education to offer myriad study abroad programs for high school students. To learn more about those programs, visit Blyth Academy International.

Private

 

Blyth-Templeton Academy provides individual instruction in a wide variety of courses and grade levels. Virtually any Grade 9–12 course can be delivered at times that are convenient for the student. In addition, prep courses for SAT’s are also available.

Blyth-Templeton Academy Private Course Policies

Course Duration:

Unless otherwise pre-arranged, all courses must be completed within the following schedule:

Full Course: 6 months

Additional Hours:

If students require additional hours for any reason, additional hours will be charged at a rate of $50/hour.

The number of additional hours required will be determined in consultation between the Head of School and the family and must be paid in full, prior to commencement.

Cancellation of Classes & Absences:

If students are unable to attend a prearranged private class, or requires a change in their class time, they must advise the teacher via email a minimum of 24-hours in advance. In the absence of such notice, any time invested by the teacher will be deducted from remaining course time and will necessitate an additional fee to enable completion of the credit. Such calculations will be based on a $50 per hour teaching fee. The school will dictate the number of outstanding hours required and the student and family will be notified of any such additional fee required a minimum of 2 weeks prior to course completion.
